China Foreign Affairs University Students visit the Embassy

Members of the Current Affairs Study Association of the China Foreign Affairs University visited the Embassy on 29 December 2017 as part of an annual interaction between the Embassy and the University.
Welcoming the students, Mr. Ahsan Nabeel, Counsellor, introduced Pakistan’s history, culture and highlighted the all-weather strategic partnership between Pakistan and China. He also briefed the students on on-going cooperation in the fields of economy, industry, commerce, science and technology.
In her address, Ms. Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Chargé d’Affaires (a.i.), said that the annual visit of the CASA students afforded a precious opportunity for interaction. She emphasized the need for greater people-to-people contact, especially among the youth of Pakistan and China. This would ensure that the time-tested friendship between the two countries continues from generation to generation.
Ms. Baloch’s remarks were followed by a question and answer session, during which the CASA students evinced great interest in Pakistan-China friendship and the CPEC.
