Tender Notice for Upgradtion of Electrical System in Pakistan Embassy Beijing

The Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing intends to undertake upgradation project of the electrical system in the Chancery building and residential blocks inside the Embassy Compound. Following are the details/requirements of the project:
 
ü Ducting of all electric/ internet communication/TV/Satellite cables/wires that are hanging outside the Chancery Building Consular section and residential blocks;
ü Ducting all electric/communication/TV cables/wires that are running openly in the offices and rooms of Chancery Building and residential block
ü Change of old cables/wires if damaged or not functioning properly or the existing length is insufficient to be ducted into the new ducts (both inside and outside of chancery building, outside residential blocks);
ü Installation of electric sockets, AC power sockets, TV signal sockets, light switches, exhaust fan and power distribution cabinets circuit breakers in Chancery building and residential blocks;
ü Installation of additional tube-lights in the Chancery building;
ü Removal/Replacement of old electric sockets in Chancery building and residential block;
ü Cable trench excavation and backfilling (for underground cable/wire connection, with metallic sleeves) between chancery building and residential block
ü Re-arrangement of loose/scattered bare wires in the telephone exchange
 
Interested firms /companies meeting the following conditions may send their tenders/bids in the sealed envelopes with clear mentioning of “BIDS” addressed to the Head of Chancery, Embassy of Pakistan Beijing latest by 1200 hrs on 09 November 2018 (Friday). The bids/tenders will be opened on the same day at 1400 hrs in the office of the Head of Chancery in the presence of the bidders/their authorized representatives/agents.
 
Terms and Condition:
 
i. Interested firms must provide proof of their registration with the tax department
ii. The firm will ensure best quality equipment/material
iii. The firm will ensure safety of the overall electrical system, devices, equipment and appliances. The firm will also be responsible for the safety of personnel.
iv. The firm will be required to submit security/performance guarantee (refundable) amounting to 5% of the value of the bid in the shape of pay order in the name of the Embassy of Pakistan Beijing
v. The Embassy of Pakistan reserves the right to fully or partially accept or reject any or all tenders/bids.
vi. Technical and financial proposals are required to be submitted in one envelope.
 
Detailed nature of the work, quantity and scope of work may be collected from the office of the Head of Chancery from 12-20 November 2018 during office hours (0900 hrs.-1700 hrs.) except holidays (Saturday-Sunday).
