ADMISSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS UNDER SELF FINANCE SCHEME (SFS) FOR THE SESSION 2018-19

The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has informed that a limited number of seats are available for admission in Public Sector Universities / Institutions of Pakistan in the disciplines of Pharm-D for foreign nationals as well as Pakistan-Origin dual nationality holders for the Academic Session 2018-19 under Self Finance Scheme (SFS).The main purpose of the scheme is to encourage expatriate Pakistanis to stay connected with their motherland and foreign nationals to learn about Pakistani culture and society, encourage knowledge-sharing with friendly countries and to improve relationships with the international community.
For admission under SFS, the students should have physically studied (SSC and HSSC) or Equivalent outside Pakistan with minimum 60% marks in HSSC or its equivalent qualifications after conversion in the form of equivalence certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBBCC) in at least there compulsory subjects including Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Mathematics. It is further added that the students are required to have passed Provincial/Regional admission test of passed SAT-II with minimum 550 marks in each subject i.e. Chemistry, Biology and Physics / Mathematics of foreign MCAT with minimum aggregate score of 24 are eligible to apply for these seats. Online application form, eligibility criteria / terms and conditions and rate of tuition fee etc., are available on HEC’s website (www.hec.gov.pk/sites/sfs). The last date for online submission of applications is 31 October 2018.
