The Annual Meeting of the Consul Generals for the year 2019 was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing on 23rd January, 2019. 

 

The Consul General Chengdu, Consul General Guangzhou, Consul General Hong Kong and Acting Consul General Shanghai presented detailed reports on the main areas of work covered by the respective Consulates. 

 

Agenda of the meeting included consular services, prisoner’s issues, issues being faced by the students and community, trade promotion, citizens’ portal and grievance redressal systems. A plan of action for the year 2019 for the respective consulates was also discussed. 

 

Lauding the efforts of Consul Generals, the Ambassador urged them to work earnestly for the welfare of our expatriate community and effectively project Pakistan’s vast potential for investment and trade with China. In this regard, a number of proposals were discussed and recommendations formulated which will be placed before the Government.
