Prime Minister Imran Khan Congratulates President Xi Jinping on the eve of Chinese New Year

Prime Minister Imran Khan has sent a congratulatory message to President Xi Jinping on the occasion of Chinese Lunar Year and Spring Festival, which reads as follows:
 
“On the advent of Chinese New Year and the Spring Festival, I have the immense pleasure in extending my heartiest felicitations and best wishes to you, the government and the people of China.
 
     It is a matter of great satisfaction that China continued its march to national rejuvenation in the preceding year. It made significant headways in all spheres of human endeavour setting new benchmarks. This unprecedented feat of progress and prosperity bears testimony to your sagacious leadership and the indefatigable will and industry of the Chinese people. We are proud of the achievements of our iron brother, good neighbour and strategic partner.
 
     I am pleased to note that our bilateral engagement its upward assent last year opening up new possibilities to further enhance our “All Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership”. With abiding faith in bilateral understanding and mutual respect, we are poised to enter the New Year with the determination to take our mutually beneficial ties to new heights.
