Prime Minister Imran Khan chairs meeting to review progress on Ease of Doing Business.
 
Chairman BOI briefed the Prime Minister about the progress made so far
 
* Integration of SECP with Punjab and Sindh business registration portals. The company can now be registered in one day with SECP on its online platform 
 
* In Lahore, the Lahore Development Authority has started its one window operation where all Departments involved in the issuance of construction permits are present. Similarly time period also reduced in Karachi significantly
 
* Complete automation of property registration in Punjab. 
 
* Online payment of federal and provincial taxes, contributions and duties
 
* Integration of key departments with WoBOC (online platform of Pakistan Customs). To help importers/ exporters and reduce the time and cost
 
* Automation of electricity connection process by K-Electric making it easier by making it online where customer can track the application as well 
 
* PM directs that time period for getting electricity connection be further reduced to one month.
