Second Joint Inspection Preparatory Committee Meeting of Pakistan-China Border held in Beijing

From September 18 to 19, 2019, the second joint inspection preparatory committee meeting of the China-Pakistan border was held in Beijing.
Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui met with the Pakistani delegation. Wang Wenli, head of the Chinese delegation and Deputy Director-General of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, had full exchange of views with Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, head of the Pakistani delegation and Director-General of the China Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, on topics including the overall situation of the border, the implementation method of the joint inspection, and the further strengthening of border management and cooperation, and signed the minutes.
The atmosphere of the meeting was practical and friendly and representatives from both countries' authorities of foreign affairs, immigration, and national defense, as well as delegates from border areas were present.
