Ambassador meets CanSino Chairman

Ambassador Moin Ul Haque paid a visit today to the headquarters of Tianjin-based CanSino Biologics Inc., where he toured the facilities and had a meeting with Mr. Yu Xuefeng, the company’s co-founder, Chairman and CEO.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction at the Stage III clinical trials of CanSino’s COVID-19 vaccine candidate in Pakistan with local partner AJM Pharma. As the trials were nearing completion, it was agreed to put in place relevant measures for regulatory compliance in line with the laws and regulations of Pakistan.

Mr. Pierre Armand Morgon, Senior Vice President of CanSino’s International Business Operation, joined the meeting via video link from Lausanne, Switzerland.
