Virtual meeting on Screening of Pakistani Movies in China and Chinese Movies in Pakistan

Embassy of Pakistan Beijing in coordination with External Publicity Wing, Directorate of Electronic Media & Publications and Pakistan Television conducted a virtual meeting engaging film producers/ exhibitors, distributors and senior media officials from Pakistan and China to discuss collaboration in spheres of film screenings and co-productions in the fields of Films, Drama, Documentaries and Animations.

This was the first ever meeting organized for promotion of both sides films and dramas screening in each other country to enhance the cultural ties and people to people contact. It was decided during the meeting that both China and Pakistan relevant government and private organizations to hold the meetings on regular basis and establish a working group. Proposals were put forth by participants to adopt a comprehensive future course of action for mutual cooperation.
