Ambassador Visits Wuhan University of Technology

Ambassador Moin ul Haque visited Wuhan University of Technology today and held a detailed meeting with Prof. Xin Siji, Chairman of the University Council. During the meeting both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges in science and technology particularly in the field of material science, mechatronics, artificial intelligence and bioinformatics.

Prof. Xin briefed about the university key strengths in the fields of transportation, construction material, ship building, computer science and automobiles. He expressed the university’s interest to establish four Centers of Excellence in collaboration with the upcoming Pakistan University of Engineering and Emerging Technologies (PUEET) to be established at former Prime Minister House, Islamabad.

The Ambassador thanked the University for equipping Pakistani students with innovation and skills. He also appreciated the University for making great contributions in further strengthening Pakistan-China cooperation in science and technology.
