Ambassador of Pakistan to China inaugurated CPEC Research Centre at China University of Geosciences, Wuhan

Mr. Masood Khalid, Ambassador of Pakistan to China inaugurated CPEC Research Centre at China University of Geosciences, Wuhan on 30 March 2017. This is the first such centre exclusively focusing on CPEC in a Chinese university. During the visit, he held meetings with Mr. He Guangcai, Party Secretary and Mr. Wang Yanxin, President of the University. Both sides appreciated the ongoing cooperation in education field and agreed to further deepen it. The President of the University expressed his intention to further expand the collaboration with Pakistani universities. Ambassador expressed satisfaction over the ongoing cooperation and explored possibilities of further enhancing cooperation through students and faculty exchanges, particularly in the fields of Geosciences, Environmental Sciences, Management Studies and Economics.

Later, the Ambassador visited the university campus and held interaction with Pakistani students.
