Important Notes

• Photocopies of all mandatory documents are also required.
• Applicants can apply for new passport when validity remains less than six months or has a genuine reason in written for getting a new passport.
• For Government Servants no objection certificate (NOC) from concerned department in original addressed to the Embassy of Pakistan Beijing.
• Approval of Directorate General of Immigration & Passports for Diplomatic, Official and Gratis Passports.
• Appointment is mandatory for applying diplomatic/official passports.
• In case of lost passports, new passport will only be issued after the verification of previous passport (from issuing authority in case of manual passport).
• In case of lost passport, loss report from Chinese police/immigration bureau, photocopy of passport and one photograph are required for new passport processing.
• In case the applicants are below 18 years of age, they should be accompanied by parents/legal guardian, along with original CNICs/travel documents. The parents/legal guardian will be required to sign at a form which will be provided by the MRP office at the time of application submission. In case one of the parents is unable to attend other should bring authority letter bearing no objection for issuance of passport and original CNIC/travel document of the absent parent.
• It is mandatory that applicant’s thumbs and index fingers of both right and left hands should be free from any coloring i.e. ink or henna (i.e. mehndi) for proper finger prints.
• Name of the children are not allowed to be included in parent’s passport.
• In case of dual nationals passport/copy of passport of the other country is also required.
• If CNIC/NICOP is still valid but picture does not match the current facial features, then revised picture on NICOP/CNIC will be required prior to applying for MRP.
• Supporting documents to verify National Status; like Parents CNIC, Previous Passport(s), Family Registration Certificate (FRC), Form-B, Birth Certificate, NOC from Political Agent, father domicile for tribal areas or other relevant documents are also to be kept along.
• Passport fee is non-refundable, so check/ complete your papers before fee submission.
• The Embassy will not be responsible for loss/ damage of passport in case of mail/authorization.
