Pakistan Week in Sichuan, 18-24 May 2023

As one of the important activities of Pakistan Week in Sichuan, 18-24 May 2023, in celebration of the ongoing Year of Pakistan China Tourism Exchanges, Acting Consul General, Mr. Agha Hunain Abbas Khan, visited Wanhui Academy, in Dujiangyan, Sichuan, and delivered a talk on Pakistan, its history, economy, culture, tourism and business opportunities.
 
In his talk, Acting Consul General highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan, spanning over several millennia, its picturesque and majestic landscapes, traditional cuisine and colorful festivals. He invited the Academy to consider a tourism field trip of students to Pakistan, during the summer break.
 
After the talk, the famous Pakistani movie, Parvaz Hai Janoon, was screened in the Academy’s theatre.
 
Hundreds of Academicians, students, staff and representatives from Sichuan People’s Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries, Dujiangyan Foreign Affairs Office, and Sichuan University attended the event.
