Pakistan International Promotion Conference held in Shanghai

Pakistan International Promotion Conference was organized by the Mission in Shanghai jointly with the local government at Nanxiang County in Shanghai on 22 May 2023. More than 50 enterprises representing a wide range of sectors including chemicals, auto parts, food processing, household appliances, ICT and hospitality industry attended.

During the conference, Mr. Hussain Haider, the Consul General of Pakistan in Shanghai delivered the presentation on trade and investment opportunities offered by Pakistan. The participants were introduced to the trade and investment potential of Pakistan and preferential FDI policies and were urged to manufacture in Pakistan. The Mission will further engage with the participating companies to encourage them to invest in Pakistan.
