International Culture Day organized by Pakistan Embassy College, Beijing

Pakistan Embassy College in Beijing organized its annual International Culture Day today. Ambassador of Pakistan to China Mr. Khalil Hashmi inaugurated it as the Chief Guest. The event featured a range of cultural activities such as traditional music as well as display of art, costumes and cuisines of over 40 countries, including China and Pakistan. College students along with their parents, teachers, members of the Pakistani and international community as well as diplomatic corps attended the event in large numbers.

Ambassador Hashmi in his address commended the Embassy College and its students for excellent organization and for presenting the rich kaleidoscope of performances which advanced mutual understanding, respect and collaboration among different cultures and traditions. He described culture a powerful tool to build bridges and foster friendships between nations. The Ambassador also underlined the significance of International Culture Day Celebrations for China Pakistan relations, noting that the event served as a platform to promote the creation of China-Pakistan Community of Shared Future.

The International Culture Day is celebrated every year by PECB to highlight the institution’s core values of mutual learning, respect and cooperation.
