Chinese Minister of Science and Technology visited Pakistan to co-chair 18th Session of the Pak-China Joint Committee on Science and Technology Cooperation

H.E. Mr. Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee and Minister of Science and Technology visited Pakistan from 7-9 July 2017 to co-chair 18^th Session of the Pak-China Joint Committee on Science and Technology Cooperation.

During the visit, Minister Wan held meeting with his Pakistani counterpart H.E. Rana Tanveer Hussain and called on the President of Pakistan.

Both sides signed Protocol of the 18^th Session of the Pak-China Joint Committee on Science and Technology Cooperation and Memorandum of Understanding on Joint Research Programme Between Ministries of Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and People’s Republic of China to strengthen bilateral cooperation on science and technology under the Belt and Road Initiative. China-South Asia Center for Technology Transfer was also inaugurated.
