Message of condolence from the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Chinese Premier on earthquakes in Sichuan Province and Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, has extended condolences to Premier of the State Council of China, Mr. Li Keqiang, on the earthquakes that struck China’s Sichuan province and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region on 8 and 9 August 2017, respectively.
In his letter dated 11 August 2017, the Prime Minister expressed “every confidence that the brave Chinese people will overcome this tragedy with their customary resilience and fortitude.”
