Special Flights Operation by PIA to Transport Pakistani Nationals from China to Pakistan

May 07,2020

          Pakistan International Airlines is considering to operate special flights from several cities of China for transporting Pakistani nationals to Pakistan. The travelling expenditure for these flights will be borne by passengers themselves. In wake of COVID-19 pandemic, all passengers arriving in Pakistan would be subject to relevant procedures of Government of Pakistan for containing the spread of disease. Further details in this regard may be accessed at the Government of Pakistan’s website www.covid.gov.pk.
          Government of Pakistan has decided to bring all Pakistanis back at this stage; however, due to certain limitations, the return of only those Pakistanis would be prioritized who fall in the following category:-
· Short term/time bound visa holders;
· Laid off workers;
· Zaireens;
· Prisoners;
· Bereaved due to death of immediate family member;
· Expired visas.
          Embassy of Pakistan is doing an exercise to invite the interests of those Pakistani expatriates in China who wish to avail these special flights. It is, therefore, requested that all Pakistani community members/students in China, interested to avail these flights, may please send their complete information, on the following format, to the Embassy at info@pakbj.org.
