Notice for Students

The unprecedented and extraordinary situation caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected students’ educational activities across the world, including Pakistani students enrolled at Chinese universities, many of whom are currently in Pakistan.
 
On the matter of return of Pakistani students to their universities in China and allied issues,the Embassy is in regular contact with the relevant Chinese authorities. Efforts are being made to facilitate the early return of international students to their respective universities in China. At the same time, in order to ensure public health and safety of all concerned, the matter is being dealt with keeping in view the unprecedented conditions currently prevailing around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fresh guidelines in this behalf are being devised which would be communicated through the Chinese universities.
 
Accordingly, we advise Pakistani students to remain in constant touch with, and act upon the specific advice of, their respective Chinese universities. We request their understanding in these difficult times.
 
The Embassy would continue pursuing this matter with the Chinese authorities and would update about the new regulations through our website.
