Ambassador Moin ul Haque Meets H.E. Mr. Luan Jianzhang, Director General of Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipality

Ambassador Moin ul Haque had a meeting today with Mr. Luan Jianzhang, Director General of Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipality at the Embassy.

During the meeting, the Ambassador appreciated the role of Foreign Affairs Office of the Tianjin Municipality for its support in strengthening all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China. The Ambassador highlighted a number of areas especially in the economy and trade, industry, vocational and technical education sectors for further collaboration. He also discussed partnership between the universities of Pakistan and Tianjin in emerging technologies. 

The Director General said that the Foreign Affairs Office of Tianjin Municipal Government would fully promote and further strengthen bilateral cooperation in science & technology, trade, culture and development of skilled human resource.

Both sides agreed to jointly organize various events as part of celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan in 2021.
