The Acting Consul General of Pakistan in Guangzhou Mr. Sardar Muhammad, visits Pakistani stalls in 133rd Canton Fair

Guangzhou, 1 May 2023: The Acting Consul General of Pakistan in Guangzhou

Mr. Sardar Muhammad visited the eight stalls of Pakistani companies

participating in Phase 3 of the 133 China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair)

in Guangzhou. Phase 3 of the Fair has started today and will last till 5th of May

2023. This is the first physical participation of Pakistani companies in the Fair

after three years break when due to Covid-19 restrictions regular physical

participation could not take place.

The eight Pakistani companies taking part as exhibitors in the Fair mainly deal in

textile products. The items on display include bedding, bed sheets, quilts, pillows,

pillowcases, towels, curtains, stationary items, bags and sports-wear articles

Alongside the Pakistani exhibitors there are a number of Pakistani businessmen

who are visiting the Canton Fair as buyers.
