Internship Program at the Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing

1. The Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing offers internship positions for undergraduates and graduate students enrolled in Chinese Colleges and Universities as well as for fresh out University graduates still exploring career options.
2. The internship program is a year-round rolling recruitment process. Most interns come into the Embassy while continuing their university studies. Eligible candidates can join in at any given month including the summer vacation. We are particularly interested in candidates with academic qualifications in disciplines relating to the international relations, international economic & trade, businessman management, IT, Science & Technology, social work & community. 

3. Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
 Ø Research and analytical work in the area assigned
Ø Attending and summarizing meetings
Ø Media monitoring and analysis of current events
Ø Assistance in drafting and preparing documents
4. Duration
The normal duration of an internship is flexible, could range from two weeks to twelve weeks. All internships must be for a minimum twenty (20) hours per week.
5. Eligibility
The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students at Chinese colleges and universities. We especially welcome students who wish to learn and help further understanding between Pakistan and China. We are looking for individuals with the following background: -
Ø Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ø Leadership abilities.
Ø Maturity and ability of work independently.
