Ambassador Moin ul Haque visit to NBP Representative Office in Beijing

Ambassador Moin ul Haque visited National Bank of Pakistan representative office in Beijing today. He was accompanied by senior officials of the Embassy. 

Sheikh Muhammad Shariq, chief representative of NBP in Beijing, received the Ambassador and gave him a tour of different sections of the office. He also gave a detailed briefing to the Ambassador about the functions and business plan of NBP Representative Office in China, which was established 40 years ago. 

During the discussion, Ambassador Moin remarked that NBP was the premier bank of Pakistan which had always been at the forefront of supporting country’s national development agenda. He expressed hope that NBP would soon obtain permission to open a branch in Beijing and play a bigger role in promoting Pakistan-China cooperation in trade & investment and financial sectors. The Ambassador assured his full support in this regard.
